Received an email to review a product I never bought or even seen

I bought a security camera through Walmart.com that was sold by Himalaya Trading Inc. They shipped an unsealed box containing only the users manual. I received a refund from Walmart, but this seller has a serious issue with their order fulfillment process.

There seems to be a theme here as I also got an email for a product I didn't purchase. I've been researching for half an hour trying to figure out what got mixed up and where and obviously, nothing did. I'm glad I stumbled on these reviews. Whether it's Himalya Trading, Vantop or even something to do with the email of [email protected], do NOT respond! Thankfully, I do not see any activity on my credit card and see others also were concerned enough to investigate what it was about. I think I'm pretty savvy to these schemes and scams but this one sure got my attention too. Shame.

Same thing as everyone else. Got an email thanking me for my purchase of the "HeimVision HM241 Wireless Security Camera System, 8CH 1080P NVR System 4pcs...". No charge on any of my cards and I didn't purchase it. Super wierd.

Received an email asking me to review a tablet that I had supposedly purchased. I've never even heard of this company, nor have I ever purchased a tablet... Hoping I don't have a charge somewhere for something I never ordered.

got a bogus email claiming i bought a camera. i did not buy. i think [email protected] is phishing. do not respond

I received an email saying someone recently purchased a drone from these guys. They won't answer my emails about it and their email has 3 different companies in it. STAY AWAY FROM VANKYO, HIMALAYA TRADING, AND VANTOP. ALL BAD.

We bought a robotic vacuum and ended up getting a used one. We contacted the company for a replacement, only to get another used one. Since then I have been fighting to get my money back. They said they will be sending out a new one, but I haven't seen it. It's been a month since we have been dealing with this and over two weeks since we returned the last vacuum. Everytime I mention I want my money back, I get a reply that the vacuum is on its way. This is beyond redickulous.

Received an email requesting feedback on a recently purchased a security camera…that I did NOT purchase. There is a scam brewing here! Watch out for Himalaya Trading Inc!

Would not buy from them again, Ordered an $80.00 camera and they sent me an $40.00 open packaged camera probably thinking I would not know the difference.

LESS THAN 1 STAR RATING IF POSSIBLE - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SELLER!!! I ordered an item from WalMart.com in hopes of receiving by Christmas 2020 to give as a gift...ordered item on 12/13/2020...if I would not have contacted the seller to request tracking information on 12/18/2020...the item may never had been shipped. The ordered item was placed into the USPS system on 12/20/2020 "3 Day Priority"...the ordered item did not arrive until 01/05/2021 - over 2 weeks from requested tracking information.

Well my vankyo battery and they send a label and send in yesterday. And vankyo text me and send your order number and deal with walmart. come so I'm guessing I won't be seeing my tablet anytime soon

Wife bought me a gift from Walmart online, she had no idea that it was from a third party vendor, I open it on Christmas day , it was ok but not my taste, she said i can send it back if i didn't like it, so we try sending it back , no dice , she purchase it Nov 15 , past 14 days for electronics, when i open it on Christmas. Walmart knew that third party vendors have their return policy, and gamble that online purchaser would not read the fine print, there right , we thought we were buying from Walmart, ...third-party vendor Walmart doesn't manufacture anything everything they sell is third party. We done with Walmart

i bought a tablet from walmart.com .they took my money and i never resived it .now thay want me to pay to talk to them .i am also contacting the BBB on them .they will steal your money

This company does not provide adequate customer support. Purchased a camera for $37 on Walmart.com, it did not function properly (couldn’t operate remotely and the wifi kept flipping off). When tried to return the company refused to provide a return label. I will continue to buy from Amazon in the future as they have both free shipping and returns, and btw, the newer version of the camera is online for $29!!!!! So I basically overpaid for an old camera on Wal-Mart!!!!!!

I also bought a vankyo tablet that quit working for me. Seller said too bad, will only refund within 30 days. I will try to get walmart to intervene, and if that doesn't work then ask BBB to step in.

Bought for a Christmas gift had them for over a month unopened, neither one work or will hold a charge one won’t even charge. Himalaya will not do anything about it, nor contact me back, neither will Walmart which is the site I actually bought it from. I plan to report both to the BBB. I will never buy from either again and plan to spread the word on how they do business

Purchased tablet for Christmas. Opened Christmas day and the tablet does not work. Himalaya will not let me return being its past 30 days of delivery. This was a Christmas present packaged delivered 12/6, Its 1/22 and they will not take return. Do not purchase this item unless you are able to open right away!

Also got a email to review item I did not purchase. I did buy some Vankyo bluetooth earbuds a year ago and they have been a good purchase.
