Purchased a Toshiba DVD/VCR Combo unit to start. Received unit in a timely manner, but it could have been packed better than it was considering how far it had to travel from the seller to me. Noticed some small pieces of plastic that were broken off of some part of the unit somewhere (?), but could not determine from where. Not able to open unit because the anti-tamper label placed on unit. Not sure if this was from rough handling during shipping or from some other way. Those were found only after I had began to look through minimal packing material to locate any accessories for the unit. Did not receive an original remote with this unit ( Was shipped with a generic remote which did not have all the functions capabilities it needed for this advanced player ). Went online and ordered a CORRECT remote for this unit through AMAZON. Did this because by this time I had been trying to get the DVD portion to play by use of the generic remote. No matter what I did with either remote I could not get that part of unit to function. The VCR side played fine. Contacted seller directly. Explained to a technician I spoke with at seller location. He issued me a RA number to be able to return unit. I had to repack unit in original box and place inside a bigger box and ship back at my expense. The technician I spoke with was helpful and agreed to make it right and assured me he would personally find a good complete workable unit of some type with the features I wanted. He did that, and I soon received a replacement unit. It was different than the first unit, but that was OK ( It was basically the same, a different color, but this time it had ALL the correct accessories, cables, etc with the unit ). Recently tried unit out on a test TV I use for checking these types of things out on. RESULTS: The DVD player, played on the HDMI input as I wanted and the VRC played on the RCA cable inputs as I wanted. Was able to return that remote I had ordered through AMAZON and was given a refund for that. This was a lot of time, effort, and money spent on this project. Not one of the best online experiences I have had, but considering the circumstances and my desire for my wife and I to be able to watch some older movies I was willing to try and make this happen. We are both retired and are having to stay at home a lot due to the current Covid Virus Pandemic so we thought we could enjoy some movies she has wanted to watch for a long time and never got around to. Yes there are better ways to watch movies now, but I'm still old school and it must still be a popular way to enjoy movies because I sure see a lot of these things advertised online. Would I buy again from this source. Maybe, but I will do more research next time. I feel a little apprehensive, about dealing with Wal-Mart online at this point so I may go in another direction on a purchase like this next time. JDF

I'm sorry that I hadn't checked this website before I ordered my refurbished DVD/VCR combo. I was planning on turning my VHS home movies into DVD's for our children for Christmas. After making only 3 VHS tapes and 3 DVD's the entire machine froze up! The machine cost $524.99, so that makes the cost of each movie $87.50. Ridiculous! I contacted NSI Enterprises, Inc. who had refurbished the machine and was told that was my problem and that they don't guarantee anything that they do. I was stunned and they totally ruined my Christmas! "Dealing Fair" is NOT DEALING FAIR! WARNING!! NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM DEALING FAIR or NSI ENTERPRISES!!!

Purchased a VCR/DVD player/recorder from this company in late Sept. 2019. did not have the opportunity to test all functions when i received machine due to an extreme family illness. When i finally got time found it was defective - will not stay powered on, will not load or play either VCR or DVD, and certainly will not tape or dub a VCR to DVD format which is the original reason I ordered this device. Emailed back and forth with them and received no satisfaction. They just give you the stock 30 day return policy. No offer of repair or replacement. I basically paid almost $300 dollars for a very expensive clock - that is the only part of the device that actually works properly. Will never order anything for them again.

Bought a refurbished DVD/VCR combo as a gift for my elderly father-in-law. I did not get a chance to hook it up for him right away but when I did the item did not work straight out of the box. Had to contact this vendor who tried to make it sound like I broke it somehow. Refused to accept the return because "their" 30 day window had lapsed even though the online posted return date was 90 days. Taking it back to my local Walmart store after contacting them about this vendor. Stay away from products offered by Dealing Fair. It appears the name is an oxymoron.

Absolutely awful company! They do not refurbish their items. They buy them used from other marketplaces for half the price then sell as “refurbished”. The man in charge is beyond rude, arrogant, and selfish. Buy from somebody else or buy somewhere else if this is the only seller.

This seller is a professional con-artist. After finding out their prices are double the normal price I returned the item. They charged a ridiculous "restocking fee" and were without a doubt the rudest people I have ever dealt with. Stay far away!

Purchased tue Panasonic DMR-EZ47V (New) DVD VCR Recorder Combo unit and right off the bat the dvd unit said it could not read any (TRIED 3 DIFFERENT BRANDS) type . This unit was sold as new If dealing fair , although made in 2007, it should have been in workable condition. If dealing fair is reading this review, what is the possibility that a replacement can be provided, at no cost to me?

Terrific refurbished DVD/VHS player all sent and received in good order. Quality packaged shipment. Plays well, included short user manual, and all components promised with the main unit (remote, wiring). I am very happy and would consider purchasing from this vendor in future.

Don't ever buy from this company! They sent this to me and I was supposed to sign for it. I'm rarely home so I sure didn't ask for a signature. Now that they tried delivery three times and couldn't get a hold of me supposedly it was sent back which they are denying and refuse to refund my money. If I don't get all my money ( they better not charge a restocking fee) then I will be doing everything I can to destroy this business! Including going to the BBB about this! I really don't understand why Walmart uses them their ratings are in the toilet.
