Ordered one refurbished Android mobile smart phone from Atomic. Received email, "it arrived". Went to my Post office. The singular employee that works there produced an itemized tracking of each location the android was between Nov 27 & Dec 2. Final tracking note: pkg placed in PO Box Dec 2. It wasn't in the PO Box. The Postal employee didn't scan it for arrival. No other tracking locations could confirm it physically went through those stations. Not only a Seller's scam, but Postal Fraud [a Felony]. Walmart's barely English speaking CS Agent will process a refund. WTH!? How many years of poor CS must we endure from Walmart before they take their worldwide leadership position in business seriously?

They shipped the phone I ordered to a stranger on the other side of the country from me. When I asked for a refund, they demanded that I return the phone. Again, the phone never got to me - it was received by someone I've never heard of, in a completely different state. At this point they have agreed to give me a refund "after checking with FedEx", but at this point it has been a whole week of no communication. From this experience and the other unanimously terrible reviews of Atomic Cellular, it is obvious that the company is deliberately engaging in criminal fraud by selling products they have no intent to deliver to the purchaser.

I'm pretty embarrassed that I didn't read these reviews before ordering 25 Chromebooks from this complete scam artist of a reseller. It went more or less like this: Me: I'd like 25 of your "certified refurbished" Dell Chromebooks at excessive pandemic prices please. Atomic Cellular: Awesome, I've charged your card and shipped your laptops. Me (a few days later): Um. So, we received 13 laptops. From an Amazon reseller who isn't you. With an invoice that clearly states that they're used and have different specs than what we bought. And it looks like they were packed by a monkey and a puppy who were fighting for dominance. Atomic Cellular: So? Me: So I'd like my money back. AC: Sure, but what if instead we gave you $50 off the 13 laptops you bought? Me: I bought 25 laptops. Different laptops. And no. AC: Here are two return mailing labels with a packing slips showing you're sending back 24 laptops . . . Me: That's not right. AC: . . .that weigh 7 pounds total. Walmart Customer Support: Hi, I'm really enthusiastic about helping you with your problem! Me: Cool. [Explains appalling incompetence/bait-and-switch scam on the part of their reseller] Walmart: We understand you want to send back 13 of the laptops you bought. Me: Nope. [Explains appalling incompetence/bait-and-switch scam on the part of their reseller] Walmart: We sure are sorry to hear that. Give us 48 hours to resolve this. AC: Please send these 24 laptops back within 3 business days or USPS will not accept them. Me: But they weigh 57 lbs., and there are 13 of them. Walmart: We've spoken to the reseller. Everything is resolved! Me (to Walmart): Nothing is resolved. Walmart: Hi, I'm really enthusiastic about helping you with your problem! Me: [explains problem again] Walmart: We sure are sorry to hear that. Give us 48 hours to resolve this. Me (to AC): I'm gonna need another shipping label that reflects the actual weight of these laptops. And you're going to refund us for all 25, right, though you'll only be getting back the 13 that somebody else sent us? AC: Absolutely. Here's another shipping label for another 20 lbs. Please send the 24 laptops back immediately, as the return window has expired. Walmart: We've spoken to the reseller. Everything is resolved! Me: [Defeated, ships back 57lbs of laptops on 27 lbs of shipping labels, crosses fingers.] USPS: Your package has been delivered! Me: Holy crap! AC: We've refunded you for 13 laptops. Me: Mother#$%#@! Walmart: Hi, I'm really enthusiastic about helping you with your problem! AC (grudgingly): Okay fine, here's the rest of your money.

If I could leave no stars I would. The company sold me a computer, bumped the price $110, cancelled my order with out explanation, after it was supposed to be delivered. When I finally got ahold of them they tell me some bs the computer wasn't working and they don't know when they will have more in stock.

I don’t recommend buying stuff from this website they never send me my computer

If there was any rating less than 1 star, Atomic Cellular would qualify. I ordered a refurbished HP chromebook to donate to a low income elementary school in Houston. On the date of expected delivery, they emailed me that the order was cancelled. I did not cancel so I contacted Walmart who emailed back that Atomic Cellular would respond within 48 hours. I have tried twice to contact them and recontact Walmart to find out the status. After looking at other reviews, It is apparent that Atomic Cellular is fraudulent. I have passed this on to Walmart hoping that they will immediately discontinue their relationship.

Ordered through Walmart . Com. It was a computer for my daughter. After the date it was supposed to arrive,I had to contact them to ask about my order. Only then was our responsibility and be at that time canceled my order saying that the product was not good enough to ship . It is pretty obvious that this company sells used products and on Walmart website it is stated that they sell this product that I ordered is brand new . I am not knocking anyone for having a business however if you want to have a business to a reputable website like Walmart you must be extremely communicative with your buyers . The phone number that is provided does not work and they do not have strong reviews on any other website . If you want to risk buying from them I understand that you may or may not get the product that you would like up to par or even at all as they may not have it available . They went and returned my order and I was issued a very full refund but I will not purchase from them again. Walmart, why are you still affiliated with this company????

Good example of why reading reviews is a good idea. I came very close to ordering from Walmart through this company just now. Changed my mind. Thanks everyone.

On 8/1/2020 I ordered a chromebook via Walmart. On 8/8/2020 I contacted Walmart customer service about my concerns. Walmart sent an email on my behalf. On 8/9/2020 I received an email from Atomic Cellular apologizing for the delay and they said the order would be dispatched in 1-2 days. On 8/11/2020 I tried to call Atomic Cellular and only got their answering machine. I contacted Walmart customer service again and complained. Walmart customer service said they would try to contact Atomic Cellular. On 8/12/2020, I received an email from Walmart informing me that the order was cancelled.

Between this place and Walmart is the worst service I’ve ever had no one will get back to me or tell me when my items are going to shit they’re supposed to be here tomorrow August 18 but I haven’t received anything yet no wonder this place only has one star and is poorly rated on the Better Business Bureau website what a bunch of hacks

I Wish there was a negative rating. I have called and Walmart has also called your contact line with no repose. I ordered a laptop it came in Bubble wrap without power or charge cables. Cover and sides were cracked and now I am being told I have to wait 2-3 weeks for my money back. I hope Walmart removes you from their 3rd party seller list.

In may 2020 I ordered 2 i7 computer laptops 2.6 gighz from Walmart via Marketplace. I received 2 i5s instead with 2.3 gighz processing speed and I'm pissed off. After reading these reviews I'm relived that we got anything that we paid for but I'm sure the i7 price is different than the i7 so I want the money difference back. During a pandemic and I'm good at getting things sorted BUT I WILL NEVER BUY FROM WALMART AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. STAPLES, OFFICE DEPOT or QUILL.

This is not a review for the computer as I never received it. Buyer beware that this laptop is sold through a third party buyer, Atomic Cellular. It appears as though they purchase refurbished items off of sites like ebay and sell them at increased cost through retailers like Walmart. When I opened my package I saw immediately that I was shipped a completely different laptop than the one I had ordered. Apparently Atomic Cellular does not provide exchanges so I had to return the laptop to them and am crossing my fingers I actually get a refund.. I have now been without a laptop for almost a month due to this roundabout and extremely frustrating process. I am writing this to hopefully save someone like me, who did not do enough digging, from this sort of hassle. After looking at the reviews for Atomic Cellular I am surprised Walmart would want to continue to do business with such a messy company that appears to have a long history of messing up orders and being hard to get in touch with. Save yourself the time and money and buy your refurbished laptop elsewhere. Walmart offered me a $25 gift card for my troubles but that was the extent of their help.

Atomic Cellular is the underbelly of the resell market. Horrible people running an awful company. Stay away from these loser @ all costs. And WalMart should be ashamed to partner w/ them Tome

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY I ordered a refurb laptop for $137 a week ago.. & a $40 protection plan. They TOOK THE MONEY OUT OF THE ACCOUNT, & dragged their feet in processing the order. A week later THEY CANCEL MY ORDER & DOUBLE THE PRICE OF THE ITEM TO $275?! NOW THEY WON'T ANSWER PHONE CALLS TO MAKE UP FOR THEIR BATE N SWITCH PRACTICES. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE KICKED OFF WALMART.COM. LOOK AT THEIR TRASH REVIEWS & CUSTOMER SERVICE?! This company is a complete FRAUD.

Atomic Cellular is run by Douglas E. Thomas in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His morally deceptive business practices have cost me hundreds of dollars and have damaged my reputation as well. AVOID THIS GUY!

I should have read this before, but got lucky. I ordered a laptop on March 8th. On march 11th it was still showing it was being processed and there were no tracking on it. I sent a messeage and walmart sent one back saying the company would contact me in 48 hrs. Today, March 12, was when it was suppose to be delivered but still showing it was being prepared. I contacted walmart again and same thing. So I decided to look at the reviews. Most of the time I dont think too much about bad reviews as long as they come with good ones because you cant make everyone happy. But his was over the top bad. Lol So I CALLED Walmart and cancelled my order. Since they hadnt shipped it out the money was never taken out of my account. It was just placed on hold. I got lukcy.

Bought an HP laptop. Memory was supposed to be 8 gb and I only have 4gb. Suppose to have 500 gb only has 320gb. So far everything works ,nice shape, only paid 309.00. Guess I learned my lesson. I'll use it for small stuff and get new from now on. Guy answered a tech question and was good natured. I may see if they can send upgrade .

Similar to one of the other reviewing customers, I ordered a phone from Atomic Cellular through WalMart, which was supposed to be delivered to me in New York in two days. It wasn't. Tracking information showed that the phone came from Westminster, Pennsylvania to Queens, NY, several miles from where I live. But then, it was sent to and delivered in Elkton, Virginia--a city I've never heard of. How it ended up there, I don't know. I had to demand a refund from Walmart, and they promptly agreed that was best. How they continue to do business with Atomic Cellular, I just don't know. The standards to sell on WalMart have dropped far too low, and it's harming customers, as well as the WalMart brand. You would think that they could do better.

Ordered two phones, received one which was still incorrect, returned one, and now having problems even getting in contact to have my money refunded. With all these complaints an also disappointed that Walmart still has them as third party. This was service at its worst!
