Do not buy from this company! I ordered a 27” Kirby from them through Walmart, but they sent a 15” one from Amazon. They said I got what I ordered even though the 15” one was $50 less. After several emails back and forth with them pleading that I leave a good review and be happy with what I got (having been ripped off by $50, they claimed it would be a hardship to refund it,) they then asked that I send them a picture of what I received. I did this with a measuring tape held against it. They then said to keep it as a gift. Some gift as I was charged $50 more than it was priced. I then asked for the refund again. And then again and again. I was again told that I received what I ordered. Explaining again that I did not. I was then told they were giving a full refund. Two weeks went by, and I asked about the refund again, and was told it was credited two weeks ago. I asked them if they wanted to see the proof that it wasn’t on my bank statement. They ignored me. I sent another email a week after that again, and was again told that it was credited back. I asked again if they wanted to see the proof that it wasn’t. Again I’m being ignored. If I could give 0 stars for being charged $84 and being sent the $32 Kirby instead then I would.

A1 Townsend is a bunch of crooks. I ordered a 27” Kirby and paid $84 for it. They sent me a 15” Kirby and a receipt saying $32.54. When I contacted them, they asked me please not to return it or ask for a refund of the $50 difference because they said it would be a hardship for them. What followed was a long string of emails back and forth with them constantly dodging the issue. First they said I received what I ordered, then they said to keep it as a gift, without a refund (how is that a gift?) Then they said they sent me what they had in place of what I ordered. Then they once again said I got my order, then they promised a refund. When the refund never arrived, they then asked for a picture of the Kirby, which I sent them with a tape measure in the picture showing it to be the 15”, not the 27” I had paid for. They then apologized again. Then they said they’d issue a refund again. Then they said they were passing it off to Walmart customer service. Future emails from them still showed as coming from A1 Townsend Enterprises, but they signed them as Walmart Customer Service, instead of a person. Each time they insisted they had issued the refund and sent a receipt that said (no refund issued,) which must have been a mistake on their part. I finally called Walmart customer service, and the representative couldn’t even believe all the lies, conniving, and theft A1 Townsend was trying to get away with. Walmart customer service issued a full refund on the spot. Walmart made it right. Never,Ever, Ever order from A1 Townsend Enterprises! If I could give 0 stars I would. They are a bunch of lying thieves.
